Krav Maga’s Fundamentals

Good citizenship. Treat all fellow-citizens with respect and obey the law.

Train properly to avoid injury. Do not injure your partner or oneself by training haphazardly or over aggressively.

Act humbly. Do not show-off your skills or provoke others to test your mettle. Act courteously toward others. One must be so humble that one don’t want to show the superiority

Avoid confrontation. Avoid or deescalate a potential violent situation whenever possible. During training for hypothetical confrontation, our aim is not to hurt the pupil but to prepare him/her for the situation were confrontation is unavoidable

Do not use unnecessary force. Respond to a threat or attack with only the necessary amount of force to neutralize the attack.

Classes incorporate Semi contact Sparring

Krav maga must be practiced under controlled conditions. Because striking at the body's vulnerable parts is krav maga's underlying counterattack principle, caution must be applied when using the techniques especially to the groin, throat and eyes. However, controlled sparring with protective gear and groundwork is an integral part of the Delhi krav maga India curriculum. Advanced students regularly participate in "Sparring activity." Krav maga instructors emphasize two paradoxical training rules: (1) there are no rules in a fight and (2) one must not injure oneself or one's partner when training
